Vampire hunter Blade is a quite old comic character, first appearance was in The Tomb of Dracula #10, July 1973. Blade is created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan. Later Blade appeared in Adventure into Fear #24 (Oct. 1974), Vampire Tales #8 (Dec. 1974) and Marvel Preview #3 and #8 (1976). Blade has also adventured with Ghost Rider and Nightstalkers, but the first very own comic book was Blade: The Vampire Hunter #1-#10 (July 1994 - April 1995), written by Ian Edginton and Terry Kavanagh, art by Doug Wheatley.
Blade is also appeared in TV series, novels and Blade video games. Blade resin statues, PVC figures, toys, movie posters and wallpapers are very wanted. Movies in the role of Blade has seen Wesley Snipes. Kris Kristofferson has been Abraham Whistler, and Stephen Dorff as Deacon Frost.
