Conan the Barbarian

Conan the Barbarian is created by the writer Robert E. Howard (b. 22 Jan. 1906, d. 11 June 1936). Conan first appeared in Howard's short story People of the Dark in Strange Tales of Mystery and Terror magazine in June 1932. In the comic books Conan first appeared in Conan the Barbarian #1, October 1970. Comic book series ended with #275 in 1993. Conan newspaper appeared in 1978–1981, created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema.
The Savage Sword of Conan comic book appeared from 1974 to 1995 (235 issues). Artist were including Neal Adams, Dick Giordano, Barry Windsor-Smith, Alfredo Alcala, Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom. Covers made Earl Norem, Bob Larkin, Joe Jusko and Boris Vallejo.

Conan is filmed twice. Conan the Barbarian in 1982, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger (Conan), James Earl Jones (Thulsa Doom), Max von Sydow (King Osric) and Conan the Destroyer in 1984, starring Grace Jones (Zula), Olivia d'Abo (Princess Jehnna). Conan TV series runned in 1997-1998 (22 episodes). Conan was played Ralf Moeller. Robert Rodriguez is rumoured to direct next Conan the Barbarian movie.
