Flash Gordon is created by Alex Raymond (b. 2 Oct. 1909, d. 6. Sep. 1956). Flash Gordon first appeared in newspaper comic strip in January 8, 1934. Raymond made Flash Gordon to the year 1943. After him strips and sunday series has made including by Austin Briggs 1940-1948, Mac Raboy 1948-1967, Harry Harrison 1958-1964, Dan Barry 1951-1990 and Jim Keefe 1996-2003.
Flash Gordon TV series runned in 1954-1955 (39 episodes), starring Steve Holland (Flash Gordon), and 2007-2008 (21 episodes) starring Eric Johnson (Flash Gordon) and Gina Holden (Dale Arden). Also is made several Flash Gordon animation series and video games, and also Flash Gordon stamps (!) Flash Gordon in the Caverns of Mongo pulp novel published in 1936, written by Alex Raymond. 1970s and 1980's has come many Flash Gordon books.
