From Hell (first published in 1991-1996) is the 10 issue comic book masterpiece by scriptwright Alan Moore. From Hell might be even more intelligent and sophisticated than the Watchmen.
From Hell movie (2001) by director Allen Hughes was starred by Ian Holm (The Lord of the Rings, Alien). In other roles were Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean, Sweeney Todd) and beautiful Heather Graham (Boogie Nights, Twin Peaks).
From Hell is the story of Jack the Ripper. The name of the graphic novel comes from the Jack the Rippers letter to the press. He signed it to "From Hell". Moore mixes the history and fiction to the harmonious and credible entity. Magic, masons and the English throne linked to a broad conspiracy. The Elephant Man and Alisteir Crowley walks in streets of London. The story also contains a lot of ideas in the life, time and the world. Illustrator Eddie Campbell reaches Victorian London's dark heart. Foggy London is beating misty and mystic from the pages. Fog condenses into darkness. Is that just a shadow or a man?
