Lobo is created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen. Lobo first appeared in Omega Men #3, June 1983. First Lobo was created just to be a parody of Wolverine. Character adventured in L.E.G.I.O.N and R.E.B.E.L.S. series, and came so popular that got own comic book Lobo: The Last Czarnian in 1990. Artists were Simon Bisley and Alan Grant.
Lobo is the alien bounty hunter who drinks too much and kills too fast. His nickname is The Main Man. He loves beer and beautiful women, and he has killed the Santa Claus. He has appeared in crossovers including with Green Lantern, Aquaman, Silver Surfer, Superman and Batman.
Lobo has also appeared at the film The Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special (2002), starring Andrew Bryniarski, and Alan Grant's novel DC Universe: Last Sons (2006). Guy Ritchie is directing new Lobo movie, which appears in 2011. Li'l Lobo (also known as Slo-bo) is Lobo in teenager and adventured with Young Justice team.
