Golden Age means comics published between the year 1938-55. In those days most popular heroes were Superman, Batman and Captain America, which appeared and got very own comic books in that time.
Silver Age was in 1956-69. Comics Code Authority was activated in 1954 in it's purpose to regulate violence and sexuality in comics. First appearance of Iron Man, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man and Doom Patrol. Actually there was a brief Atomic Age in 1945-56, between the Golden and Silver age.
Bronze Age was in 1970-83. Bronze age was the golden age for the horror creatures. Dracula visited in X-Men and Spiderman fight against werewolf and many odd enemies. It was also a golden time for the violence. Darty Harry inspired to create the Wolverine, The Punisher first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #129 (Feb. 1974) and Sam Peckinpah's movies were model to many artists.
Copper Age was in 1984-91. Death of the superheroes: Watchmen, The Dark Knight Returns and The Shadow: Blood and Judgement. Marvel and DC came to crisis in real life at the end of the 1980's. Age from the year 1992 to present is called Modern Age
You can find lot of CGC first prints and full runs for any of those time periods from eBay, and mostly quite cheap too! Also many kind of statues and figurines, and old toys and games is available.
