Sub-Mariner: Namor the First

Namor the Sub-Mariner is created by Bill Everett. Character first appeared in Motion Picture Funnies Weekly, April 1939. Namor's other aliases are Avenging Son and Imperius Rex.
In Golden Age Namor had his own comic book Sub-Mariner Comics published by Timely Comics (1941-1955). In Silver Age Malvel Comics reanimated Namor as a villain in Fantastic Four (The Fantastic Four #4, 1962). After that Sub-Mariner has have his own comic book, including in 1990-1995 and 2003-2004. He has adventured in Dark Reign, Ultimate Namor, Secret Invasion, Destruction of Atlantis, MC2, 1602, Marvel Zombies and House of M stories.
