Neil Gaiman (b. 10 Nov. 1960) is science fiction and fantasy screen writer, author and comic sciptwright. He is one of the most remarkable comic writers in Modern Age. His most well known work is comic series Sandman. In his early career he made with Dave McKean works Violent Cases (1987), The Tragical Comedy or Comical Tragedy of Mr. Punch (1994) and Black Orchid (1993-1995).
