Solomon Kane

Solomon Kane is created by author Robert E. Howard in 1928 (creator of Conan the Barbarian, King Kull and Red Sonja). First Solomon Kane short stories were published in Weird Tales magazine. In comic books Solomon Kane has published first Marvel Comics and later Dark Horse Comics. Solomon Kane first appeared in Monsters Unleashed #1 comic book in August 1973. Own comic book mini-series he got 1985, when six issue The Sword of Solomon Kane were published. In 2008 Dark Horse started Salomon Kane comic book series, adapted from Robert E. Howard novels.
Solomon Kane movie premiere was in autumn 2009. Film was directed by Michael J. Bassett, starring James Purefoy (Solomon Kane), Rachel Hurd-Wood (Meredith Crowthorn), Max von Sydow (Josiah Kane), Ian Whyte (The Reaper), Alice Krige (Katherine Crowthorn) and Pete Postlethwaite (William Crowthorn).
