Stephen King’s The Dark Tower

The Dark Tower is Stephen King's long time book series which started in the year 1970. King mixes fantasy and western to science fiction adventure. Marvel company started the gigantic project to make the entire saga to graphic novel.
King's original idea has probably been to make The Lord of the Rings to science fiction adventure format. Some details are same kind, like The Dark Tower reminds Isengard, and the chrystal balls shows what happens elsewhere. The first issue of The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born (by Robin Furth, Peter David, Jae Lee and Richard Isanove) appeared in 2007. Story shows the early years of the Roland. In the books those times has been told only in flashbacks.
