Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye of the Toy Collector

A Japanese toy company Takara made in 1970-1980 various toy robot kits (including Microman Micro Change and Diaclone Car Robot). 1984 The American toy company Hasbro licensed these series, and started to market them in the name Transformers - More Than Meets The Eye. In the same year started Sunbow Company's Transformers animation TV series and Marvel Comics started to publish Transformers comic books. In 1986 appeared Transformers - The Movie -animation film.
Many Japanese Transformers products has not imported into the western markets, like some Nintendo Transformers games. From collectors in Japan will open an entirely new world. But the old English Transformers comics are even harder to get than the Japanese toys.
Transformers video games has made many diffirent consoles. The newest Transformers game is available on PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS.
In the 2007 Transformers movie main robots are Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), Megatron (Hugo Weaving), Bumblebee (Mark Ryan), Starscream (Charlie Adler), Bonecrusher (Jim Wood), Frenzy (Reno Wilson), Jazz (Darius McCrary), Ratchet (Robert Foxworth), Ironhide and Barricade (Jess Harnell) and Scorponok. Human actors are Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky) and sexy Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes).
Michael Bay's and Steven Spielberg's Transformers movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen appears in 2009. New robots are Soundwave (Frank Welker) and Mixmaster (Mike Patton). As a trivia, Peter Cullen, the voice of the mighty Optimus Prime, has before been the voice of Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh animation films and tv-series.
